Zahra Omarjee

Zahra Omarjee is interested in fire history reconstruction using sedimentary charcoal, and how fire regimes are impacted by human activity in South Africa. Her research focuses on long term environmental change and masters research will use a multi-proxy approach in reconstructing vegetation change and fire history in the Herbertsdale area. Wetland formation This research can provide meaningful insight into management practices regarding fire and ecology.
