Nozizwe Mtshali

Nozizwe Mtshali is interested in sea level change in South Africa, developing records of baseline pre-industrial sea-level change, anthropogenically forced post-industrial sea-level accelerations and amplitudes of sea level variability due to natural and human forcing. Her research project focusses on reconstructing historical sea-level rise at the Berg Estuary in the Western Cape using a transfer function built from microfossil foraminifera assemblages.
